The opening round of the Brazilian championship is taking place this weekend with some European talent in action.
In qualifying, Fabio Santos who raced the opening two rounds of the Spanish Championship before MXGP in Argentina is now racing in Brazil before the Spanish MXGP next weekend grabbed pole.
French talent, Stephen Rubini was second fastest. Former MX2 GP rider, Gustavo Pessoa was fifth fastest with Miro Sihvonen from Finland ninth quickest.
In MX2, Eric Tomas put in the fastest time to take pole position.
