Brian Bogers got the holeshot in the qualifying race as Jeffrey Herlings got a bad start and then ran into Calvin Vlaanderen who crashed just in front of him after the first corner.
At the front, Gajser passed Bogers for the lead but Prado quickly got around him as well. There wasn’t much to split the pair but Gajser did well to hold onto the win around a sketchy track.
At a track hard to overtake on, Herlings managed to get back to seventh.
