It was a great first lap for Liam Everts as he passed Lucas Coenen and then pulled away at the front looking really, really good.
Coenen was playing the long game though and with three to go started to catch but he couldn’t quite get close enough to attempt a pass – Everts was superb!
Mikkel Haarup had a lonely ride in third but will be pleased with the result.
Kay de Wolf was fourth but had Simon Laengenfelder all over him and then on the very last lap the German attempted a very aggressive pass but a misjudgement saw him and De Wolf on the deck. The German did end up fourth but de Wolf dropped back to ninth – he won’t be happy with Laengenfelder!
Zanchi ended up fifth on his HRC Honda in a solid ride.
