Mikkel Haarup got the holeshot on his Triumph and was looking superb at the front pulling away at the front of the field.
MX2 championship leader, Kay de Wolf had other ideas though. He passed Laengenfelder for second and then set his sights on Haarup but the Dane didn’t make it easy for de Wolf. The Dutch rider did end up making a move for the lead but Haarup stayed with him and made him earn his victory.
Laengenfelder was third ahead of Coenen before he crashed promoting the Belgian up to third.
