There was chaos off the start going into turn one with a number of riders caught up in a crash but it was Thibault Benistant who seemed to come out worse getting hit. At the front, it was Simon Laengenfelder holding the lead with a trio of KTM riders behind him. It was Andrea Adamo on the move passing Coenen before closing up and passing Everts for second. It didn’t take the Italian that long to catch Laengenfelder before passing him to take a very impressive win.
Isak Gifting rode superb to finish an impressive fourth ahead of Kay de Wolf who had a great battle with Jago Geerts most the moto before the Dutch rider made a move and pulled away.
