MX2 Qualifying race: It was Jago Geerts who took the holeshot and led from start to finish in the MX2 qualifying race around a slick and deceiving circuit. Roan van de Moosdijk rode great on his Nestaan Husqvarna to keep things close for the first half before the Belgian pulled away.
Simon Laengenfelder made a move on Rick Elzinga to finish third ahead of the KTM trio, Andrea Adamo and Liam Everts. Despite a small crash, Kay de Wolf was able to make a few passes and made a move on Thibault Benistant on the last lap for seventh – Benistant has work to do for race day.
Lucas Coenen is dealing with a sickness and also suffered from a bad start but came back to tenth.
