Jago Geerts took the holeshot and led every lap of the MX2 qualifying race in Argentina. Behind him Tom Vialle huffed and puffed to keep him honest but in the end didn’t have enough to challenge Geerts for the win around a fast track.
At one stage, Kay de Wolf was close to the front two but in the end settled for a comfortable third ahead of Mikkel Haarup who passed Simon Laengenfelder with a lap to go.
Roan van de Moosdijk had a big crash on his Husqvarna which is far from ideal as he was already riding with a painful shoulder. Italian, Andrea Adamo also crashed out.
