Session 1: In the first group, it was Dean Wilson who put in the fastest time in the first session as he just edged out Conrad Mewse but there wasn’t much to split the pair. Eddie Wade was third fastest on his Stark over Tom Grimshaw and Steven Clarke who rounded out the top five.
In group two, it was Tommy Searle who set the pace on his Triumph with Bayliss second and Chatfield third fastest. Barr put in the fourth time of the group on his Apico Honda.
Session 2: Wilson was quickest in the first group yet again but Mewse was very close. Brunell had a much better session putting in the third fastest time ahead of Grimshaw.
Bayliss put in the quickest time in the second qualifying for group two ahead of Hammal and Searle.
