Oss to host the first European MXGP round in 2022?

The 2022 MXGP provisional calendar is expected to be released this week which is great news. After a few difficult years for Infront Moto Racing and all the organizers due to COVID-19 we can expect a more normal calendar which will most likely include fly away rounds as well as plenty of rounds to take place in Europe.

The Dutch MXGP was held at the old-school Oss circuit last year and the man behind the event, Ebert Dollevoet has revealed via ed.nl that he expects the track to host the first European round of the series next year on the 26th and 27th of March.

With the season expected to get underway at the end of February it’s likely that the first couple of rounds will be fly away events but we will have to wait and see for the official calendar.

British fans will be hoping Matterley Basin will be on the calendar after it hosted round two of the series last year – fingers crossed it will be back on the 2022 schedule.
