Official: Nicolai Skovbjerg signs with SixtySeven Racing


After it was announced that promising Danish talent Nicolai Skovbjerg has parted ways with MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing, his plans for the remainder of the 2026 season have now been confirmed.

SixtySeven Racing have officially secured the services of the highly-rated youngster, moving quickly to strengthen their line-up after Scott Smulders was sidelined through injury. The team had been searching for a suitable replacement and have opted to bring in one of the standout riders from this year’s EMX250 championship.

Skovbjerg has enjoyed an impressive campaign so far and will now continue his season under the SixtySeven Racing banner, with his focus remaining firmly on the EMX250 Championship and the ADAC Youngster Cup. The latter presents a particularly exciting opportunity, with the Danish rider firmly in the hunt for the title as the season heads into its crucial stages.

The move represents an important next step for both rider and team. For SixtySeven Racing, it provides an immediate boost to their competitiveness following Smulders’ unfortunate injury setback. Skovbjergis  set to make his debut for SixtySeven Racing this weekend at Tensfeld. All eyes will be on the talented Dane to see whether he can hit the ground running as he begins this new chapter of his career.
