TM MOTO STEELS DR JACK – YAGO MARTINEZ FOR THE MX2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2024
TM moto announces that in 2024, after six years of absence, it will return to compete in the MX2 World Championship.
The rider who will take the TM MX 250 ES Fi 4T to the race will be Yago Martinez, a Spaniard originally from Vigo, born in 2001.
Yago started to become familiar with the bike a few days ago by going to the team base and will then continue all his winter preparation to be ready for the first commitments of next season.
The sports program includes participation in the MX2 World Championship, the Italian MX Internationals and the Italian Pro Prestige in the Elite MX2.
We welcome Yago to the TM family and wish him a great job.
MASSIMILIANO COSTANTINI (TM moto racing manager): “We are very happy to be able to return to participate in the motocross world championship which we have been absent since 2018. For a small company like ours it is certainly a big step. The choice of Yago is a good bet for us, we really believe in the potential of the boy who has had an unlucky period but now seems to be slowly returning to his usual levels. We are very curious to see to what point the development work carried out in recent years has brought our bike compared to the competition and Yago seems like the right profile to do so. We will join him with another young profile who will participate in the EMX125 European Championship which we will announce in a few days. Welcome to us Yago and good work.”
