Ducati are a new brand in the sport and so far have competed in the Italian Motocross Championships and Alessandro Lupino even won the MX1 title – the first time of asking.
The brand are now preparing for their debut MXGP World Championship season in 2025 but attentions have turned to America too. Ducati and Troy Lee Designs have announced a partnership to enter the AMA Supercross series in the future.

An historic moment for both Ducati and off-road racing. Ducati and Troy Lee Designs announced a groundbreaking partnership, stating the intention to enter AMA Supercross in the USA, with the Ducati Desmo450 MX.
The first stage in this partnership is the paddock presence of the Troy Lee Designs team in Ducati Red at eight rounds of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship. The star of the tour is a prototype Desmo450 MX in hand painted livery by the iconic Californian designer.
“We are super stoked to be partnering with Ducati, one of the most prestigious brands in motorcycling,” stated Troy Lee “Racing is core to our brand and enables us to develop our products for safety at the highest performance levels. I look forward to making history together with this partnership.”
