Official: Andrea Rossi to contest the final round of the British Championship

Young Italian talent, Andrea Rossi has been contesting selected MX2 World Championship events this year as a privateer. However, his season isn’t finished yet as he’ll head to England to race the final round of the British Championship at Blaxhall.

The SevenSeven2 Ride Kawasaki team have invited the Italian to race the last round of the MX2 British Championship and the Italian was pleased to accept.

Craig Chamberlain (team owner): “Andrea was parked opposite us at the Foxhill GP, and we were genuinely amazed by the effort he and his family put in throughout the entire weekend”.

“As a small, family-run team, they’ve taken on the challenge of the World Championship, and seeing that commitment first-hand got us thinking: you know what, let’s give Andrea the opportunity to come back to the UK and have a go at the British Championship”.

“There’s absolutely no pressure or expectation. This one-off ride is all about having fun, gaining experience and giving Andrea the chance to enjoy racing here in the UK. That said… he’s a racer! So we’re sure that once the gate drops, he’ll be keen to put on a show for everyone. It’ll be a new bike for Andrea and a completely new challenge, but we’re really looking forward to having him with us and seeing what he can do. Most importantly, we hope he and his family enjoy the experience”.

Andrea Rossi: “I’m really grateful for this opportunity. It feels really good to receive this news after putting so much work and dedication into what I do. I’m super excited to have one more race this year, and I can’t wait to be there”.
