In the opening race, it was Liam Everts who took the win in hard pack conditions ahead of Thibault Benistant and Mikkel Haarup.
It’s promising signs for Triumph with Haarup only being 11 seconds off the win on only his second race on the new bike.
In the second race, Everts had the early lead but then dropped it which meant Benistant got himself to the very front.
The French rider was in a fierce battle with Mikkel Haarup the whole way to the finish with the French rider taking the win and overall with it but Haarup is looking good.
British talent, Joe Brookes had a solid day for thirteenth overall as he prepares for the EMX250 championship.
