Moto One: Charlie Heyman showed why he is the man to beat in MX2 with a holeshot to checkered flag win in moto one at Landrake. Tommy Searle started second but had no answers for Heyman’s speed in the opening laps. Mustoe then passed Searle for second and despite an initial charge on the leader, Heyman upped his pace to secure the win. Searle said after the race he is struggling with an issue in his hand that is limiting feeling in his arm, but he was still good enough to hold Brookes off for third.
Moto two: A red flag meant a shortened moto two, but it was Ben Mustoe who took the win after passing leader Billy Askew late in the race with Tommy Searle charging late to catch the duo but forced to settle for third. Charlie Heyman played it smart for fourth.
