Race One: Isak Gifting took the holeshot and never looked back. He dominated on his JK Yamaha machine. Jan Pancar and Ben Watson were buried on the first lap but rode well to come through the pack. Pancar came through to an impressive second – he’ll feel he can challenge Gifting if he can get out of the gate. Monticelli rode well to finish third with Watson coming back up to fourth ahead of Lapucci who rounded out the top five.
Race Two: It was Gifting’s turn to get a bad start as he was buried in the pack. Pancar got himself to the front of the pack while Gifting charged hard through the pack and rode a great race. In the end Pancar was able to take the victory and with it the overall win. Monticelli rode great for third with Watson fourth.
