It’s going to be a wild weekend of racing at the Motocross of Nations at Ernee with all the top teams all not at full strength, even the fancied French team having their MX2 rider Mathis Valin just back from injury to join Vialle and Febvre.
The Dutch lost Kay de Wolf but have Glenn Coldenhoff on a factory Yamaha in MX2 with Van de Moosdijk and team leader Jeffrey Herlings in some of the best form of his career.
The American have their two best 250 riders in Levi Kitchen and last minute recruit Julien Beamer replacing Chance Hymas at short notice on the 450 with their team Captain Cooper Webb making his debut on Husqvarna – if it clicks they could be contenders.
Spain have a huge champ with SMX world champ Jorge Prado and MX2 world champ Guillem Farres wiith European EMX250 champ, Garcia replacing the injured Fernandes on the 450 – Spain could win this!
The dark horses are Latvia with Pauls Jonass, Karlis Reisulis joining him on a 450 and younger brother Karlis Reisulis on the 250 – all riders with podium potential.
Belgium are the wild card, if Lucas Coenen is fit they can win it alongside Sacha Coenen and Liam Everts but that remains to be seen just how ready to race the young KTM star is.
