With Alvin Ostlund recently agreeing a deal with the JWR Honda team, Italian based team, JK Yamaha Racing have been on the look out for an MXGP rider. The team have announced they’ve agreed a deal with young Swiss talent, Kevin Brumann.
Brumann started the year racing the MX2 World Championship but then decided to make the move up to MXGP and the 450cc. The young Swiss rider scored some points gaining plenty of experience and he’ll hope to be even stronger in 2023.
“Welcome to JK, Kevin Brumann. The 18 years old joins the JK Racing Yamaha to contest the MXGP World Championship onboard the brand new YZ450f in 2023. We can’t wait to get it started and to work with this young lad”, the team stated on social media.
