Kevin Brumann ruled out of Maggiora GP

The races at the MXGP of Italy on the traditional track at Maggiora will unfortunately take place without the 17- year-old Swiss Kevin Brumann from the “iXS MXGP Team”. The Ehrendinger suffered numerous bruises in a crash during the MX2 class race in Matterley Basin, Great Britain last weekend.

“Kevin is fine, but the pain in the tailbone is just too strong,” said team manager Daniel Zollinger, explaining the situation. “He tried again in Lommel today, but it would be irresponsible to go to Maggiora. Kevin is disappointed, of course, but safety comes first. It’s still a long season to go and we want him to be 100 percent healthy again. We are sure that Kevin will be able to fully attack again at the next World Championship-Race in Oss, Holland.”
