Jörgen-Matthias Talviku – injured!

Young Estonian talent, Jörgen-Matthias Talviku has been in Spain putting in the laps to prepare for the 2021 EMX250 championship.

However, he’s picked up a hand injury and after initially thinking he didn’t need surgery he now needs to have an operation.

Talviku has plenty of time to heal before the EMX250 series gets underway on the 22nd and 23rd of May at Oss but he’ll lose some preparation time on his BTO Husqvarna.

“I injured my Metacarpal bones while training in Spain. At first it seemed, that I don’t need any surgery, but after another check up it was necessary to have a surgery. So now the healing process is on and I should be back racing in about 6 weeks time. It is not a perfect situation, but we have some time to prepare for the EMX. Thank you everyone who has helped me in this difficult situation and people who stay with me”, Talviku stated on social media.
