Michael Sandner was making his MXGP debut at the weekend in Arco di Trento but it didn’t go according to plan after a crash leaving him with plenty of injuries. The Austrian is currently in ICU but his condition is stable.
The following update was posted on his social media page.
“UPDATE: Unfortunately Michi is at the intensive station after his crash. But his condition is stable, further though he still got many injuries. (Priority is the surgery for C1 thoracic vertebrae and T3 cervical vertebrae; Secondary his broken shoulder, broken ribs and damaged hip.)
