Injury update: Henry Jacobi

Henry Jacobi raced his first MXGP World Championship of the year at his home round in Germany during the weekend and had a superb weekend.

The Sarholz KTM rider worked his way into fourth in moto one and was having a superb race until a crash demoted him to tenth but it was still a good result.

In the second moto, Jacobi had another crash and the result is broken jaw.

Injury update Henry Jacobi. Yesterday we had to experience once again that highs and lows can be very close together in our sport. After a crash in the second race at his home GP in Teutschenthal, our pilot, Henry Jacobi was successfully operated on on Monday morning.

Henry suffered a complicated jaw fracture with multiple breaks. In addition, there were a number of cuts that required medical treatment. The hard impact also caused the 27-year-old to suffer a severe concussion.
