Hakon Osterhagen – injured!

It’s a big blow for young Norwegian talent, Hakon Osterhagen as he’s suffered a broken leg from a practice track crash. The Fantic rider has had a superb season so far in the EMX125 championship and was looking odds on to clinch the title.

With the next round of the series set to take place in Germany on the first weekend of October it looks like he’ll miss out and the EMX125 championship battle has been blown wide open.

The one positive for Osterhagen is he did become Junior World Championship earlier in the year in Greece.

“Hello everyone, I have some sad news to tell you. Yesterday I had a crashed and the results was a broken leg. I am now in the hospital to start the recovery and I had the surgery yesterday. All went well. I will work hard and do my very best to recover as fast as possible”, Osterhagen stated on social media.
