A surprisingly calm Haiden Deegan gave his assessment of his fifth place finish immediately after the race and he was very measured in his assessment!
“P5 from crashing on the start is pretty good! I got cross-jumped but it’s no-ones fault, you never know, the start is always a question mark if you don’t get a good start – I don’t blame anyone. I got cross-jumped and hit his rear wheel. I felt good for getting mangled like that, my hair across my eyes the whole moto – I felt pretty good!”
