Jeffrey Herlings set the pace in MXGP free practice but there wasn’t much in it between him and Lucas Coenen.
Tom Vialle was third fastest with Tim Gajser fourth. Romain Febvre rounded out the top five ahead of Kay de Wolf and Maxime Renaux.
In MX2, Mathis Valin topped the group at his home GP. Guillem Farres was second fastest on his Triumph with Sacha Coenen third.
Valerio Lata put in a good lap for fourth with Janis Reisulis rounding out the top five.
