Tim Gajser topped the MXGP times in free practice but there’s not much in it between him and Romain Febvre.
Glenn Coldenhoff was third fastest as he is just fast everywhere this year on his Fantic. Lucas Coenen was fourth fastest.
Jeremy Seewer put in a good lap to round out the top five with Alessandro Lupino fifteenth behind Jeffrey Herlings.
Kay de Wolf set the pace in MX2 free practice but the times are very close. He was a tenth faster than Sacha Coenen. Simon Langenfelder was third fastest but only three tenths off the pace.
Karlis Reisulis who seems to love this Swiss track was fourth fastest with Liam Everts rounding out the top five.
