Valerio Lata saved his best lap until the very end of the session to go quickest in the EMX250 free practice session in Portugal. The young Italian edged out Cas Valk with Francisco Garcia third fastest.
Billy Askew put in a fast lap for eighth with Joe Brookes twelfth fastest.
