Elias Escandell set the pace during the free practice session of the 125/250cc session. The Spaniard was quicker than Francesco Bellei with Alexis Fueri third fastest.
In the 85cc class it was Jorge Salvador from Spain who set the pace over Andrea Uccellini.
Spain were fastest in every session as Daniela Guillen was also fastest in the WMX class.
