EXCL: Factory TM to contest the MX2 World Championship in 2024

At the end of the 2018 season, TM decided to leave the Motocross Grand Prix paddock but they weren’t out of the paddock for long after making a return in 2021. Italian based team, Steels Dr Jack have been running TM’s efforts but have been focusing on the EMX250 series the past two years.

However, we believe the Steels Dr Jack team and the TM brand will be back in World Championship action for the 2024 season. We contacted team manager, Massimiliano Costantini who confirmed the brand will indeed be lining up in the MX2 GP’s next year with at least one rider and will also have at least one EMX125 rider for the 2024 season as well.

It will be nice to see the brand compete in World Championship action once again – the first time since 2018 when Max Nagl raced MXGP with the Italian manufacturer. Their addition will also create at least one more ride in the MX2 GP class which is always welcome.

The team’s riders are expected to be confirmed soon and we will bring you the news as and when it is available.
