Ethan Lane signs with Jezyk KTM – MX2 GP’s in 2024

Despite the Revo GasGas team closing their doors, Ethan Lane has found another MX2 GP ride for the 2024 season after inking a deal with Jezyk KTM.

The team confirmed the news via the following press release:

Ethan Lane will race the World Championship and Spanish Championship with Jezyk Racing Team in 2024.

With the arrival of the new year, Jezyk Racing Team is pleased to announce the arrival of what will be their sixth rider for the 2024 season, Ethan Lane.

After the renewal of Tom Brunet and Juan Izaguirre for the 125cc category; Mauro Osinalde and Yonay Morales in MX2 and Roger Oliver, in MX1, the structure of Carlos Morchón has closed with the signing of the British rider based in Spain, who will compete in the MX2 World Championship and the Spanish Championship in the same category.

Born on January 14, 2005, Lane has been riding motorcycles since the age of 5, a time when he lived with his family in Dubai. He later lived in the United States, where he competed in the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s competition, and was part of the Hitachi KTM structure in the EMX class.

The 2023 season was of ‘rebuilding’ after suffering a serious injury and now he is training with Jose Antonio Butrón and returns to high competition in the hands of Jezyk Racing Team.
