The Ulster Championship gets back underway this weekend with the opening round of the series taking place at St. John’s Point circuit, hosted by the Knock MCC club. There’s plenty of buzz ahead of the event, and with a strong entry list confirmed, fans can expect some fantastic racing.
One of the standout names on the list is Stuart Edmonds, who’s back on TM machinery for the 2025 season. The experienced Irish rider will be looking to make his mark and build momentum as the season progresses.
Joining him on the line is Jason Meara, who had a standout 2024 and earned selection for Team Ireland at the Motocross of Nations. With that confidence under his belt and a solid off-season, Meara will be one to watch.
Also making an appearance is Glenn McCormick, fresh off a strong start to his British Championship campaign. The Chambers KTM rider has shown good pace already this season and will be aiming to carry that form into his home championship.
The experienced Martin Barr is another big name confirmed to race. Despite a heavy crash at the opening round of the British Championship, Barr toughed it out to compete in the second moto and is planning on being back in action this weekend aboard his Apico Honda.
Add in the regular Ulster front-runners like Nathan Green and Ryan Adair, and the stage is set for a great weekend of racing in Northern Ireland.
