Eli Tomac on Jeremy Coker leaving – shocked!

Eli Tomac admitted his shock that Jeremy Coker, his 450 Star Yamaha team manager has left the team with just a month to go until the 2025 season begins.

Tomac said of Coker, who will now mange the Triumph team: “It was out of the blue for us. It was just a shock, man. I don’t have much to comment on it other than it was just a shock to everyone in the shop. I didn’t expect coming on December 11th, you expect those changes in October, not in December.

But Eli was complimentary of what Coker brought to the team and gave an insight into what Triumph may be getting for the 2025 season. “For the run that we had he was really good, he got stuff done, he wasn’t afraid to allow us to be the wild west. Wasn’t afraid to try stuff, gave the 450 team a lot of freedom. It was out of the blue. I don’t know exactly what is going to happen and who is in the permanent position.”
