Disaster for Pro Circuit Kawasaki

Mitch Payton had a nightmare in Nashville. Cameron McAddo and Levi Kitchen came into the home of country music with their respective championship leads and both left without the red plates!

McAdoo’s day went bad early when he got clipped by another rider in practice, going down hard and injurying his shoulder, he barely made the main event, finishing ninth the East coast heat.

Levi Kitchen had a terrible start after going wide in turn one in his heat but both made the main albeit with poor gate picks. And it was those poor gate picks that caused the damge with both starting mid-pack and then, int he first rhythm lane, McAdoo accidently floated into his teammate Kitchen in mid-air causing them both to crash!

Kitchen lay there for a while and looked injured (he also got his head ridden over) but somehow got back up as McAdoo could only manage a couple of laps once he remounted before pulling off and losing 20 points to new points leader on the East Coast, Tom Vialle, who not has a 13 point lead over Deegan with McAdoo 16 back with two rounds to go.

Levi Kitchen meanwhile made a pretty impressive comeback to 14th, so, despite RJ Hampshire winning, Kitchen still has a big shot at the title only two back – but he thinks he is dealing with broken ribs!

Kitchen said: “Man how quickly things can change. Feels like some broken ribs but we will see. Glad to salvage some points. Ain’t over yet.”
