Haiden Deegan has apologised for his TV interview after the race in Denver that saw him put down his teammate, Cole Davies, for the win and clinch the 250 West supercross title. A pumped up Deegan told people who don’t like him and doubt him to, “suck it.”

Deegan said: “I want to congratulate Cole, he is riding really good. Two laps to go I wanted the win I was going to do anything for it. I saw an opening and took the chance. This means a lot (on the title). Coming in people doubted me and thought I was all hype coming into supercross and motocross. They are just mad that I’m him and if you don’t like it you can suck it!

But, after a written warning from the AMA for his interview, Deegan, via Instagram, posted the following: “I want to apologise for what I said in my recent interview. I take full responsibility – it was wrong. To everyone who supports me: I don’t take your support for granted. I’m learning, growing and doing better moving forward. Thank you for holding me accountable.
