Daniel Blair unleashed a bit of inside news in his latest Main Event Moto show on YouTube. When he casually dropped in that the likes of Levi Kitchen, Tom Vialle, Chance Hymas and Jo Shimoda could be the favourites for the 250 outdoors next year because Haiden Deegan is going 450 – meaning the much anticipated duel between Deegan v Jett Lawrence, aka oil v water, is not far away!
Blair said: “As much as I bet it stings to have the mouthy one up over 50 (points), second place in points isn’t going to sting that bad come the off season, with Haiden going 450 next summer, the battle for 2025 favourite is up in the air.”
The future era of the two biggest stars in the sport is almost here, just imagine the mind games an aggressive Deegan will start then while trying to rattle smooth Jett on and off the track! Oh, and Jorge Prado will be joining the party too and Sexton will likely, barring an unforseen disaster, will have the number 1 plate…
