Dean Wilson had some great performances in Canada for second overall but he had some interesting things to say about the advantages the Stark Vargs had in both classes with their power advantages in elevation.
Soeaking to Vital MX, Dean said: “So the bloody Starks were kind of a pain in the ass off the starts, because they were doing it on the 250 to 450, we’re at elevation, we are runninh the FIM fuel which isn’t good. So it’s a slower bike already, and then the Starks, like, don’t even have to shift off the Starks, they don’t have to worry about elevation, don’t have to run the shittier fuel, so yeah, I don’t know, I don’t know how I feel about that, but yeah, it’s what it is.”

Meanwhile Sebastien Tortelli had his say on the Stark’s success in Canada in both classes:
” I mean for sure our first podium ever on the WSX is amazing for the team and for the guys. So it showed that the winter was good and then we put the work that needed to be done. And like you said, you predict the holehot but numbers were not there last year. So I must say we had to work on it pretty hard and tonight I’m sure the altitude was also for something. I mean it’s not like a regular race and we got the best out of it so we take it and I think it’s a good positive vibe for the whole team.
“I’m sure at sea level we’re going to lose some power. I mean compare, the power would be equal like it was last year. I mean this year I worked a lot with the guys for the start, so it’s not only the altitude we make a difference, it’s the work that we put behind it with the team and the riders “
