Long time amateur rival of Adam Ciancuarulo, Cooper Webb has paid tribute to the man he spent a lot of time getting second too in the amateurs, the heated rivalry then turned to respect in the pros with both riders claiming AMA titles, but never quite battling each other on track like in Amateurs.
Webb said: “15+ years spent trying to figure out how to beat this guy. Lots of sleepless nights and battles were had, but looking back it helped shape me into the racer I am. Congrats on a hell of a run and best of luck on whatever is next.”
