The Sommières had some big entries for their International event set to take place this weekend but the weather forecast has not played it’s part.
With it expected to rain all weekend and some top riders pulling out to race Lierop this weekend instead it has been decided to cancel the event entirely.
It is a real shame as a lot of hard work went into the event and they even increased their prize money pot this year.
The organisers posted the following update on social media:
The Motoclub Sommières has taken the decision to cancel its event on February 23!
The office made this decision in view of the forecasted weather and the withdrawal of many riders.
For pre-sale tickets, the refund procedure will be done in the next few days.
