The 2026 EMX250 Championship came to a close in Türkiye at the weekend, bringing an end to Simone Mancini’s time with Ducati and Beddini Racing.
The young Italian talent has confirmed that the final round of the season was his last race with the manufacturer and team, bringing his one-year agreement with Ducati to an end.
Mancini joined the Ducati project for the 2026 season and raced with a stock Desmo250 MX machine in the EMX250 Championship. Despite a challenging campaign, the Italian enjoyed a solid season and finished tenth in the championship standings.
With Mancini now departing, Beddini Racing will turn their full attention towards the MX2 World Championship in 2027. The Italian outfit are set to field two riders in the class, with Ferruccio Zanchi already confirmed as one of its riders for next season.
Taking to social media following the final EMX250 round in Türkiye, Mancini reflected on his season and thanked Ducati and Beddini Racing for the opportunity.
“Well… the last race of 2026 is done! It’s been quite a difficult season with a lot of up and down. This was my last race with Ducati and I want to say thanks for the opportunity they gave me this year and for this experience. I want to say thanks also to all the guys of Beddini Racing for the hard work they did this year! Guys, you all are a great people”, Mancini stated on social media.
Mancini’s next move remains unknown, with the young Italian now looking for his next opportunity as he continues his career in the Grand Prix paddock.
