Confirmed: Riley Racing 2022 rider line up – stepping up to the World Championship

The Riley Racing Yamaha team have confirmed they’ll be stepping up to race the World Championships in the 2022 season. Brent van Doninck has inked a deal with the team after losing his Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha ride but the mean thing is he’ll still be racing MXGP for the season ahead.

Tim Edberg was part of the Riley Racing team in 2020 when he raced the EMX250 series and he’s agreed to rejoin the team as he’ll be stepping up to race the MX2 World Championship.

The team will still have a presence in the EMX250 series with young Dane, William Kleemann getting an opportunity with a good team after a number of years as a privateer.

“We are proud to announce our line up for the 2022 season. We are moving up to the MXGP class with Brent van Doninck. Tim Edberg is coming back to our team to race in MX2 and William Kleemann is going out in the EMX250. We are excited and will work hard to be ready for the new season”, the team stated on social media.
