JK Racing Yamaha have confirmed they have struck a deal with Isak Gifting that will see him stay with the team for the 2025 MXGP World Championship season.
This year was Gifting’s rookie season in the very competitive MXGP World Championship and he showed good speed and potential for the future.
Both parties are happy to stay together for the 2025 season which will mean Gifting will have a full off season with the team heading into the upcoming season. After signing a late deal coming into 2024 he didn’t have the benefit of a full off season so that should benefit him.
Isak Gifting:
“I am very happy to extend my deal. We have came very close right now and it is like a family. I am very happy to continue our cooperation and I think we have the possibilities to take the next step we need in order to level up. We are working really hard for it”.
Giuliano Boschi (JK Yamaha team manager):
“We are happy to continue one more year with Isak. This season he already showed that he has the speed so we can’t wait to start the preparation for the next season and make some steps forwards”.
The JK Racing team revealed the news via social media:
“We’re excited to announce that Isak Gifting is staying with us for the 2025 MXGP season! Isak has shown not only skill and speed, but also a Viking’s heart on track! We’re ready for another season full of thrills and adrenaline with him”.
