Confirmed: Foxhill MXGP plans progressing strongly ahead of 2026 return


Preparations for the return of MXGP to Foxhill are continuing at pace, with organisers confirming strong progress across all key areas of the event.

A recent Safety Advisory Group (SAG) meeting delivered a positive and constructive outcome, with all relevant stakeholders aligned and working collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of a world-class event at the iconic venue.

With speculation circulating externally, organisers have reiterated that planning, permissions and operational processes are progressing as expected, supported by ongoing engagement with all relevant bodies.

Track Upgrades Begin in May

Significant enhancements to the Foxhill circuit are now underway, with a focus on elevating both rider performance and spectator experience while preserving the venue’s renowned character.

Respected track specialists Alfie Smith and Justin Barclay will begin major works on the main track in May, marking a key milestone in the build-up to the event.

Event organisers continue to work closely with Infront Moto Racing, promoter of the MXGP World Championship, to deliver an event that reflects the global standard of the series.
