All is set for the new 2026 EMX Open European Championship!
FIM Europe reminds all riders and National Federations that registrations for the season 2026 are open, with entries accepted up to the very day of each zone pre-round.
The countdown has officially started: each event represents the final opportunity to secure your place on the gate and be part of the first edition of this brand-new Championship, a milestone moment in European motocross.
Designed to ensure equal opportunity across all zones, the EMX Open features a clear and merit-based qualification system, with the top ten riders from each zone advancing to the Final.
The qualification format follows the same structure as the Junior zones (EMX65 and EMX85), guaranteeing a proven and balanced pathway to the Final. In addition, the Championship Promoter may, at its discretion, invite a further 10 riders, bringing the total number of starters to 50 (40 qualified + 10 wildcards).
Beyond qualification, this Championship offers something truly unique: exclusive spots to experience the intensity of Lommel alongside the MXGP elite, delivering outstanding international exposure on one of the sport’s most iconic stages.
FIM Europe strongly encourages all eligible riders to complete their registration as soon as possible via the FIM Europe dashboard or through the official links in the Supplementary Regulations.
National Federations are kindly requested to actively promote this opportunity through their communication channels to ensure maximum participation.
The chance is still open: don’t miss the gate!
