Confirmed: Adamo and Forato stay with SM-Action GasGas for 2022

The 2021 season might have just came to an end but you can expect plenty of announcements for the 2022 season to start being released. Italian based team, SM-Action GasGas have already confirmed that Alberto Forato and Andrea Adamo will be staying with the team for the 2022 season.

Forato came into 2021 the season with an injury which meant he didn’t get a full winter preparation but he continued to improve as he got used to the MXGP series and is clearly a rider with a bright future.

After missing a lot of racing last year, Adamo made the step up to the MX2 World Championship but had plenty of solid results as a rookie and ended up fourteenth in the championship and he’ll look to build on that for 2022.

Kevin Horgmo contested the EMX250 series for the team this year but it looks like he is on the move and we believe he’s secured an MX2 World Championship ride so stay tuned on that one. With Horgmo departing the team, the SM-Action GasGas team are expected to sign up at least one more rider for the season ahead.
