Chase Sexton never had a chance of going for the SMX title after a bad start led to getting landed on by Justin Barcia. Sexton tried to ride but pulled out with a sombre Ian Harrison saying Sexton would sit out moto two with a hand injury that he was away to get evaluated by the medical team.
Sexton is the team leader for the USA and it would be a big blow if he is out – could Tomac have to step up like Cooper Webb last minute to save USA?
Let’s hope so or Team USA might not even go…according to Roger DeCoster via Lewis Phillips:
