Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna announce 2024 plans – entering EMX250

Introducing a new, innovative motocross team to the European motocross racing scene – Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna. This team features five riders participating in the EMX250 European Championship, ADAC MX Masters, and the Swiss Championship.

Behind Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna, you’ll find three successful entrepreneurs who have combined their expertise and resources to lead this unique team to long-term success. Thomas Bauerschmidt, who owns two motorcycle shops, oversees the technical aspects of the team. Andre Stumpf, representing the Pro Sports Alliance, is responsible for athlete training and provides the athletic foundation with his Performance Center in the Netherlands. Hans Rudi Berger, a Swiss construction entrepreneur, acts as the team manager, taking care of sponsors and team organization.

In 2024, Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna will field a total of five riders. Competing in the EMX250 European Championship and ADAC MX Youngster Cup are the two Swiss riders, Nico Greutmann and Lyonel Reichl, along with Australian talent Liam Owens.

Nico, who secured a podium finish in the Youngster Cup in 2023, achieved a top-ten finish in the European Championship. Lyonel left a strong impression in 2023, particularly with his day win in the Swiss Championship. Liam Owens, a 16-year-old talent, was the 2023 Australian Junior 250 Champion and will make his European full-time debut in 2024.
