British MXGP Results: MX2 world championship – Laengenfelder wins!

Simon Laengenfelder took a dominating moto one win over Tom Vialle and Kay de Wolf to prove his qualifying win was no fluke in a dream start to the year. Jago Geerts took fourth after a couple of crashes with Stephen Rubini a fantastic fifth. Conrad Mewse finished eleventh after a bad start.

Race two and Simon Laengenfelder did the double to win his first ever GP – but it wasn’t easy! Tom Vialle passed the German a few laps in for the lead but then Vialle crashed and handed the advantage back. Vialle got up in second but had Geerts on his back wheel as they chased the German. All three were right together with two laps to go and then Vialle fell on the final lap as he looked for the move to win it!
