Julien Beaumer has vowed revenge on Haiden Deegan after Deegan put a very aggressive pass on his title challenger to take third at the end of the race and extend his championship lead by a couple more points.
But it was after the race when they got into even more with Deegan not happy Beaumer had posted his address on IG regarding Deegan’s arrest record.
Deegan said of the confrontation:
“First lap I tucked the front and I made the wrong swing on bike set-up, that’s just how it goes. I will take the blame on that one, I crashed first lap and put myself in a bad position. Fought my way back up and made my way up to third. Obviously everyone knows what happened in these last two weeks (arrest) but JuJu posted it on his (Insta) story and it had my address and stuff so now you are talking about my family, putting my family in danger, so that’s a whole other scene. I just told him don’t do that dude, it ain’t cool and he obviously lit back, we will see what happens from here on out.”
While Beaumer, having listened to what Deegan (who got booed) said on the podium, retorted:
“My race was alright, I got caught in lappers a bit and that’s on me. I ain’t the only one who posted his address, he can talk all he wants but that is public record, I ain’t worried about it, he has got one coming for him in Philly!”
