It was only last year that August Frisk was seriously injured whilst he was racing the Junior World Championship.
The young Swede was in intensive care and fighting for his life but he thankfully pulled through and since then has made a full recovery.
Frisk has inked a deal with GT KTM Racing team for the 2024 season which will see him race the rest of the EMX250 championship.
He will make his return to racing this weekend at Arco di Trento – it will be lovely to see him back in the GP paddock again!
The team posted the follow statement:
We are very happy to announce the arrival of August Frisk to the team.
He will be present this weekend behind the grid of Arco in Italy for the second round of the EMX250 European Championship. He will also be present at all races of the EMX250 European championship, and perhaps at an event in the French elite championship.
