Max Anstie says he would love to race at home for team GB the Matterley Basin MXoN but it’s doubtful – although not totally impossible just yet.
Speaking to Lewis Phillips on Vital MX Anstie said: “I would love to do it, I have been speaking to Mark Chamberlain. This year would be fantastic to go and do the Nations back at Matterley. Mark and the guys at Star have got to figure it out. Mark’s budget is less than what Star want, Star want to do the job right and bring two bikes or at least one bike, ship a bike so it gets expensive, all the technicians all of that stuff. I’m leaving it up to them and the ACU and Mark to figure it out if they have the budget if they have the budget to pull it off, fantastic.”
